Who is therapy for?

Many people feel daunted and hesitant about the idea of starting therapy. Questions about whether therapy is right for you, or whether it can help, are completely normal.

In my practice, we will work at your pace. You do not need to feel out of control. The work will be tailored to your needs, and you will decide what we focus on and how quickly we progress.

Psychotherapy and counselling can help with a wide range of issues, from stress and relationship difficulties to anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. I am trained to provide validated, evidence-based interventions for more serious difficulties, and I also offer gentle listening and guidance with everyday problems.

Therapy is a confidential space for you to discuss what matters most, at your pace, with regular feedback so that the work remains helpful and relevant. This flexibility means that therapy does not have to feel daunting, and it can be shaped to fit your needs.
